Following are a few practical examples of what we have done...

Personal Monitored Alarms - discounts for financially disadvantaged clients referred by community service providers

Western Linkages has negotiated that discounts are available to financially disadvantaged clients when referred by ANY community service provider in South Australia to the following alarm providers:  Call Direct, Doctors Safety Line, Safety Link, Vital Call  and RAA Emergency Response Service

Any community service provider in South Australia can refer a client for the discount - download general information on how to refer by click here  This document was updated in June 2011.  Active participants in Western Linkages can access the full list with prices at the 'secure documents' section of our website.  Please direct any queries to:  email westernlinkages@dfc.sa.gov.au or telephone 8440 6737.

Mind the Gap collects data on clients who have approached a social support program for a service but been turned away, which can occur for a diverse range of reasons.  The data collected forms a part of the overall picture - it is combined with other information to form a more accurate, evidence based picture of unmet need.    View the Mind theGap Flyer
